Board of Directors

Alexander Paluch – Chairman Of The Board

Mr. Paluch is a General Partner at East River Ventures Partnerships. Mr. Paluch brings more than 20 years of private and public information technology and health company investment and advisory experience. Previously, he held roles as a management consultant, executive, and investor, with 12 years as a General Partner in various venture capital partnerships. He has co-founded and managed various international investment and consulting funds that targeted development-stage companies in the United States and Europe. His career includes work with AT&T, Cable and Wireless, Alex Brown, and Gibbons Consulting. He served as a member of the Technology Advisory Committee for both the Department of State and the Office of National Service.

He speaks frequently on venture capital investing in the United States and in Europe and is a regular guest lecturer on venture capital and entrepreneurship at the Columbia School of Business and at the Yale School of Management.

Alex received a BA degree in Economics and an M.P.P.M. from Yale University, as well as a JD degree from Georgetown University Law Center. He was also a Rotary Scholar at the London School of Economics.

Jordan S. Davis – Director

Mr. Davis is a Managing Partner of Radius Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on early stage investing in the health and life sciences industry. Before Radius, Mr. Davis served as a Managing Director at KBL Healthcare, Inc., where he was also focused on early stage investing across a broad range of health and life sciences companies.

Previously, Mr. Davis was primarily engaged in financial advisory and money management having served for five years in the Private Client Services and International Equity divisions of Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc. He was a founder of Cambridge Heart, Inc., a cardiology device company and currently serves on the board of directors of Amicas, Inc. and Coordinated Care Solutions, Inc., both portfolio companies of Radius.

Mr. Davis earned an M.B.A. from the J. L Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. in Economics from The State University of New York at Binghamton.

Stewart A. Gollmer – Director

Stewart A. Gollmer is a senior vice president in Private Equity and a partner in Lehman Brothers Venture Partners. Mr. Gollmer joined Lehman Brothers in 1998 and has been with the Venture Capital Group since 2001. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers Venture Partners, he was a member of Lehman Brothers' Technology Investment Banking Group where he was responsible for corporate finance and strategic advisory assignments. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Mr. Gollmer was a corporate attorney. Currently, he is a director of Navini Networks, Kodiak Networks and Health Language and a board observer of TeleNav and comScore Networks.

Mr. Gollmer holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, a J.D. from Brigham Young University and a B.A. from the Johns Hopkins University.

Peter Richards – Director

Mr. Richards is a general partner at Empire Capital Partners, a technology-focused hedge fund. The fund invests in technology companies at both the venture capital and public market level. Prior to forming Empire Capital, Mr. Richards was a technology research analyst at The Travelers Group where he was also responsible for managing a technology portfolio. Before joining The Travelers, Mr. Richards was a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley in the investment banking division.

Mr. Richards received a B.A. from Harvard University.

George T. Schwend – Director

Mr. Schwend is the President, CEO and co-founder of Health Language, Inc.; Mr. Schwend has extensive experience in healthcare services and IT companies. He was a General Manager for Corning Medical; Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Lab Force, Inc., Senior Vice President and a Director, Western Star; President of InfoScience; and a co-founder, Senior Vice President and COO of Healthcare.com (NASDAQ:HCDC), formerly HIE (NASDAQ: HDIE) and Healthcare Communications, Inc. He is a member of SNOMED's Industry Advisory Board. Mr. Schwend received a B.S. in Business, with a concentration in marketing, from The University of Louisiana at Monroe.
