ICD-10 Conversion
Meet the 2013 ICD-10 conversion deadline with LEAP I-10 and other Health Language solutions.

The CMS-mandated ICD-10-CM/PCS transition on October 1, 2013 will affect nearly every medical payer and provider in the United States. ICD-10-CM/PCS represents a vast increase in coding granularity and complexity: with some 140,000 distinct diagnosis and procedure codes, ICD-10 dwarfs the 15,000 codes in ICD-9-CM and procedures.

LEAP I-10

Health Language is proud to introduce LEAP I-10, our new ICD-10-CM/PCS conversion solution for providers and payers.  Based on the HLI Language Engine, LEAP I-10 is a user-friendly mapping tool for local and standard terminologies including ICD-9-CM and procedures, ICD-10-CM/PCS, GEMs mappings, MS-DRGs, and many other content sets.

ICD-9-CM and procedure lists can be imported into the system and converted to ICD-10-CM/PCS with the click of a button. LEAP I-10 provides detailed insights into potential revenue variances generated with the GEMs mappings and allows users to modify these mappings to suit their patient populations. Payers and providers can use LEAP I-10 to model reimbursement scenarios following the ICD-10 conversion and reduce the business risk inherent in this large-scale changeover.

LEAP I-10 includes the following content. Many other standardized and custom content sets are also available:

Terminology content sets:
ICD-9-CM, ICD-9 procedures
ICD-10-CM/PCS
MS-DRGs

GEMs mappings:
ICD-9-CM (including procedures) to ICD-10-CM/PCS
ICD-10-CM/PCS to ICD-9-CM (including procedures); includes CMS Reimbursement Maps
